PhotoBomb is a friend-to-friend photo delivery app. It's not a shared album, and it's not another social feed — it's the fastest way to get the photos your friends took of you off their phone and onto yours.

The problem PhotoBomb solves: your friends take photos of you constantly — nights out, trips, random Tuesday hangs — and you almost never actually see those photos. They live on someone else's camera roll forever, or die in a group chat under 400 other messages. PhotoBomb fixes that. You select your best shots, pick the friends who should get them, and send. They get a "bomb." They open it. Photos they didn't know existed, delivered.

Because that's exactly what it feels like on the receiving end — someone drops a surprise stash of photos of you into your hands, and BOOM, you're looking at moments you forgot happened. We just leaned into the name everybody already knows.

Anyone with friends who take photos — which is basically everyone. It's especially great for friend groups, roommates, college crews, and anyone who's ever said "wait, send me that!" and never actually gotten the photo. Weddings and big events work great too, but PhotoBomb isn't limited to special occasions — it's built for every hangout, not just the big ones.

Three steps, about 30 seconds total:

• Select photos — pick the shots from your camera roll you want to send.
• Pick your friends — choose who's getting bombed. Tag the people in the photos, or just anyone who should see them.
• Light the fuse — hit send. Your friends get a notification that a bomb is incoming.

You'll get a push notification that a friend sent you a bomb. Open the app, tap it, and the photos "explode" into view — that reveal moment is the whole point. No link to click, no album to browse through, just the photos, front and center.

No. If a friend doesn't have PhotoBomb yet, they'll get an invite to download it so they can open their bomb. That's kind of the magic of it — most people who get bombed once become bombers themselves the next time they've got photos to share.

Yes — pick as many friends as you want for a single bomb. There's no cap on recipients, on the free plan or otherwise. We're not going to make you choose who gets left out of the group photos.

Yes — genuinely free, not a trial. The free plan includes:

• Unlimited bombs sent and received, no monthly cap
• Unlimited friends per bomb — no recipient limit
• Up to 50 photos per bomb
• Standard-resolution photo delivery
• Delivered photos kept for 90 days

We deliberately did not put limits on the things that would make the app annoying to use with a real friend group — no cap on how many people you can bomb, no cap on how often you can send.

PhotoBomb Plus is the optional paid upgrade, for people sending bigger batches or who want their bombs to last forever. It includes:

• Unlimited photos per bomb (no 50-photo cap)
• Full-resolution originals instead of standard-res delivery
• Bombs that never expire — no 90-day countdown
• Custom fuse effects and reveal themes

Exact pricing is shown in the app before you ever get charged. Nothing you already sent or received changes if you don't upgrade.

Never. Plus is a sender-side upgrade for people who want higher limits and permanence. Anyone receiving a bomb can always open it for free, full stop.

PhotoBomb Plus is billed through the Apple App Store. To cancel or change your subscription, go to iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → PhotoBomb, or manage it directly from the App Store app. Cancelling stops future billing; you keep Plus benefits through the end of the period you already paid for.

Only the specific friends you send a bomb to. PhotoBomb isn't a public feed and there's no "explore" page — photos go directly and only to the people you pick. Nobody else, including other PhotoBomb users, can see them.

No. We do not sell your data, we do not use your photos to train AI models, and we do not use your photos for advertising. We collect what's necessary to run the app (account info, the photos you choose to send, basic device/usage data for reliability and abuse prevention) — nothing more.

• Free-plan photos are deleted 90 days after delivery.
• Plus-plan photos are kept as long as your account is active, or until you delete them.
• If you delete your account, your account data is fully removed within 30 days (backups may persist up to 90 days).

Yes, at any time, from inside the app's settings. Deleting a photo or bomb removes it immediately from view and purges it from storage within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your profile and associated data the same way.

If you're in the EEA, UK, or California, you can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or export of your personal data, and you can object to certain processing. We don't sell personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of on that front. Send requests to privacy@photobombapp.com — we respond within 30 days (GDPR) or as required under CCPA.

Check three things, in order:

• iPhone Settings → Notifications → PhotoBomb → make sure "Allow Notifications" is on.
• Make sure you're signed into the same account the bomb was sent to.
• Force-close and reopen the app once — this refreshes your device's push registration, which fixes the most common cause of missed notifications.

This is almost always a connectivity hiccup. Try: switching from Wi‑Fi to cellular (or vice versa), force-closing and reopening the app, and confirming you have the latest version from the App Store. If a specific bomb still won't load after that, tell us which one when you email support — it helps us fix it fast.

Double-check you selected the right person — it's an easy mix-up if you have friends with similar names or photos. Also confirm they've accepted the notification prompt during onboarding. If you selected the right person and they still don't have it after a few minutes, email us with roughly when you sent it.

Update to the latest version from the App Store first — most crash fixes ship there. If it's still crashing, restart your phone, then reinstall the app (your bombs are stored in your account, not on your device, so nothing is lost by reinstalling).

Force-close and reopen the app to refresh your account status. If Plus still isn't reflected after a minute, check Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your phone to confirm the purchase went through, then email us your purchase date and we'll sort it out.
